How Can I Help You & Your Business?

I may be the ideal candidate for a small company who needs an IT resource person to cover a number of different technical areas of the companies operations: email campaign manager, webhosting and website maintenance, graphics work, database management, CRM system, HR, and SEO and lead funneling to sales.

Instead of hiring multiple specialists who handle a single role, I have experience in multiple areas and can be a single person resource. Part time, remote worker in the same time zone and familiar with USA corporate culture and native English speaker.

My biggest competitive advantages to offer you are:

  • Native English fluency (better communication than many offshore devs).
  • Time zone alignment with the USA (a major issue for businesses hiring from India).
  • Lower salary expectations (cost-effective compared to hiring in the USA).
  • Over 20 years of experience in many different IT environments – from basic corporate websites to full scale business applications with tens of thousands of database records.

Full-stack Web Developer expertise

SEO/content writing (unique combo for SMBs that need both dev and marketing help).

Currently based in the world´s most beautiful city, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Who Are You?

I basically have 4 types of clients that I work with: Small business owner, entrepreneurs, graphic designers, and medium sized companies.

1) Small business owners who are not tech savvy and have no interest in spending their valuable time learning how to setup the DNS for their domain, procure a web-hosting plan, install and configure WordPress….etc.

They want someone reliable who they can DM or call and get their website updated or any tech issues dealt with. Then they can go back to doing what they are good at: sales and running their business. A couple of examples would be restaurant owners and sportswear retailers.

2) Entrepreneurs who have a business idea that they want to bring to market and require a professional website as part of their business. The website itself might generate revenue through advertisements or provide a service and serve as an essential part of their marketing and customer service.

A Search Engine optimized website might also be a sales funnel to generate leads and provide sales prospects. For these entrepreneurs, their talent is going out there, networking and bringing a business idea to the marketplace. I’m the technical partner they can collaborate with to make their idea come to life.

3) The graphic designer. I have worked in cooperation with many talented graphic designers who might design business logos, promotional literature, or even the graphic style and design of their clients website. All businesses need promotional materials – even if it’s just a logo or a business card.

The designers are expert in those specific areas but don’t know code and have no interest in learning how to set up a relational database. I bring my PHP and MySQL database skills to connect their graphic work to the backend of their client’s website. It is a great marriage of complimentary skills and I’ve completed many successful projects working with designers.

4) The “IT Guy” for a small to medium sized company. Usually I serve in a part time/ consultant role. The company may have several different IT services linked together (ie. Website, MailChimp email campaign manager), the webserver and other software updates.

When something goes wrong with any part of their overall company IT infrastructure, they call me to sort it out so business operations can resume ASAP. Most people in any given business are specialists in their areas of expertise, but don’t have a clue why their website went down. Call  me.

Do any of the above describe you? Maybe I can help you.

Sisyphus myth

The Story of Sisyphus :

In mythology, Sisyphus was tasked with endlessly pushing a boulder uphill, only for it to roll back down. This repetitive challenge became his eternal fate.

What Sisyphus Represents for Your Business:

The image of Sisyphus can reflect the often-cyclical and demanding nature of work. While tasks may sometimes feel repetitive, the story also highlights the importance of perseverance and finding purpose even within challenging processes. It’s about the commitment to the climb, even when the summit seems distant.
